About Me

My Kinesiology journey started in 2004 when I felt a little stuck and out of sorts – nothing was wrong, yet everything just felt out of place and out of sync.

I took the advice of a friend who suggested that I see a kinesiologist. Using muscle testing as an indicator, the kinesiologist identified some imbalances in my body and proceeded to restore them on a mental, emotional, and physical level. She explained that a lack of equilibrium can hinder the body’s natural ability to heal from “dis-ease”. I was amazed at how different I felt after just one session.  I subsequently convinced my husband, kids, family, and friends to also try this unexplainable “thing” called Kinesiology. Their experiences were similar to mine, and I became a Kinesiology regular.

In 2010, my fascination with Kinesiology compelled me to fire up the grey matter. I started Googling a few options and came across an Anatomy and Physiology course offered by the Association of Specialised Kinesiologists in South Africa. They had space left for one more student on the course which started 2 weeks later. Well, a sign was a sign… 😊

After two years of studying, I was a certified kinesiologist and opened my practice in Durbanville in 2012. While working, I furthered my studies to become an N.O.T. (Neural Organisation Technique) practitioner. I still have an insatiable urge to learn more about my chosen field and there is never a shortage of new information. Kinesiology covers so many aspects of wellbeing that one can never stop learning.

Over the years I have established my own individual way of working. I incorporate my knowledge and experience to each session to ensure the best possible outcome.

In June 2020, I relocated my practice to Stellenbosch to complement a new venture I started. I now share premises with Oxygenate Stellenbosch which offers Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.

Kinesiology has been a life-changing journey for me – I have the utmost respect and awe for this discipline.

I look forward to being part of your journey to healing and self-discovery.
